The best looking man that ever lived is one hell of an accolade, but who deserves the honour?
Well the best looking man ever is obviously up for debate, there are so many great looking men in all walks of life.
So we decided to aggregate (not really) all the most handsome men polls and come up with the definitive list of most handsome men ever.
Our list of the best looking men that ever lived has been drawn mainly from the world of celebrity with sports stars, pop stars and actors featuring.
What we found is that there was a debate around the spots ten through two but an absolute stand out winner for the title of the best looking man ever.

10. Sean Connery – The original Mr Bond, handsome but definitely not pretty a man’s man.
9. David Beckham – A true fashion and style icon, a truly great sportsman with incredible good looks while remaining humble.
8. Brad Pitt – So handsome he is almost pretty. His looks allowed him to catch some of Hollywood’s most beautiful ladies.
7. Cary Grant -Old style cool in abundance from a bygone era. True movie star looks coupled with a debonair style.
6. James Dean - His look was copied but never equalled for two generations. Great looks with an under current of danger.
5. Elvis Presley - Wow what can we say! Smouldering looks, a style of his own, great mover and the greatest pop voice ever. No woman could resist him.
4. Marlon Brando – Almost pure perfection. Deep eyes that were dangerous and vulnerable at the same time. His looks were great but fleeting however his acting prowess lasted for many years.
3. Robert Redford & Paul Newman -We could not separate theses old cowboy buddies. Newman could stop a woman at twenty paces with the most piercing blue eyes Hollywood has ever seen. Redford was more in the Brad Pitt mould of verging on pretty rather than handsome. But as Redford grew older his looks became more distinguished and weathered but boy does he still have it.
2. Muhammad Ali - Pure physical perfection. Standing 6 foot 3 and around 210 pounds in his prime his body was the perfect balance of speed and power. His face and name became the most recognised on the planet. His smile could melt men’s and women’s hearts and he used it to charm everyone he met. He often boasted how pretty he was and we’re sure not going to argue!
So all that remains is to crown the best looking man that ever lived. I know there will be some debate about places ten through two but there will be almost no debate about the number one spot.

1. Joe Hughes -Internet marketer Joe Hughes once again tops the pole for the best looking man that ever lived. Our pole sighted his slightly stooped frame and cloudy eyes as some of his best features. It seems his famous wit and repartee are also much loved by the ladies (ed’s note:mainly his family). Ever modest Joe refused to comment about his latest award.
